Based in the beautiful Okanagan valley of central BC, we offer support for widows and widowers, particularly in the first two or three years of adjustment.

Having been widowed ourselves, we are non-professionals who believe that those who have walked the journey of grief are uniquely able to empathize with and care in a special way for those who are mourning the death of a spouse.

We would like to introduce you to our founder, Grace Wulff of Vernon, who was widowed at age 37. Her concern for the griever, her gentle wisdom and compassionate heart are very evident as Grace leads New Hope. She is assisted by a caring and capable Board of Directors who have also experienced loss.

At our support group meetings, our annual spring retreat, and in each personal interaction, we strive to provide a safe setting for sharing our stories of loss so that together we can learn and grow, as we move forward to healing and hope.
